About me
I was born and raised In Crawford County just down the road in Cochranton. Following college where I earned a B.S. in Rehabilitation Therapy and a minor in psychology, I worked my way back home to Meadville. I had a rewarding career in healthcare helping elderly individuals and families in various levels of care from home health, rehab, assisted living, nursing home and hospice care as a Community Relations Director. When COVID was in its height of impact, my job was eliminated and I found myself a bit lost. I volunteered here and there, joined as a CASA board member, started a book club, adopted a puppy (I LOVE my dogs so much), and painted several pieces of artwork. Heck, I even bought a camper, but I was having trouble finding myself again. A good friend said one day "do something that scares you" and so I started on a new adventure in my greenhouse.

Our nursery difference
At Lynnie's Lil' Leaf Nursery, we pride ourselves on offering some unusual and healthy plants and vegetables. Our commitment to providing unique and robust plants sets us apart in the Meadville area.

Our passion
One thing led to another is what I should have called my Facebook group! I didn’t start out with the intention of selling my plants. For years I grew for my family. Friends noticed the unique plants growing and had requests. I planted more seeds. They told their friends. I planted more seeds. So it goes, a name was created a Facebook group started and a website evolved and a logo imagined. Followers followed and plants were sold out so quickly. I learned what was in higher demand and seeds were ordered. Special requests came in and more seeds were ordered. Then, a few friends sent notes here and there and oh my goodness, more seeds planned for 2026. Thank you wholeheartedly for a great season and stay well.

Our community
Hitting over 400 group members, feeling the support of so many in such a short period of time, a great milestone was achieved with all of you.
